29 June 2013: Cramond and the Forth

Starting from the coffee shop at Canonmills we headed north to the Ferry Road cycle path then out to Cramond and back in along the waterfront, ending up back at Inverleith Park.

Following some of the more well-used paths, we made good progress with an interesting detour to the Edinburgh – Kyoto Friendship Garden within the grounds of Lauriston Castle. A good lunch was had at Cramond Falls cafe: we met two folk on electric bikes there, and some of us even had a wee go; some didn’t, fearing that biking as otherwise done would be relegated by this luxury!

All in all about 14 miles.
